The Staff of the CPTG spent 4 days in Ottawa, Canada training 20 therapists to provide the CPTG’s group treatment program for Moral Injury and Post Traumatic Stress to active and retired Ottawa Police suffering from these injuries. Matt Skof, President of the Ottawa Police Association, who has been instrumental in spearheading this unprecedented wellness program for police, stated he hopes that the CPTG’s program for Moral Injury will be rolled out across the provinces of Canada so that all police and first responders will have access to this critical care. The CPTG staff will return to Ottawa in January to support the therapists who are implementing this care to police to assure the quality and integrity of the services provided.
