Our men and women in law enforcement today face extraordinary dangers and the reality of life threatening events to self and others. Counterintuitively, they must rush head long into human trauma, often putting their own lives in harm's way. More recently, there has been a societal upsurge of violence and death experienced by those who wear the uniform. This psychological wounding compounds ordinary post traumatic responses and moral injury, adding a layer of institutional betrayal. The Center for Post Traumatic Growth is committed to all law enforcement personnel and their families in its mission to assist in communal healing and recovery; through our core programs for individuals and couples/families; tailored to meet the specific needs of this population.
